And we meet [[Diana Napier]], Jacks niece from [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Liberty_City_(HD_Universe)|Liberty City]].

===== Plot =====

The movie starts with a tv commercial for beauty surgery in [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Paleto_Bay|Paleto Bay]], which the still disfigured [[Jack Napier]] watches and he decides to give it a try. After all, he's heavily burned after his attack on [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Humane_Labs_and_Research|Humane Labs]] in the previous movie, [[The Shady Avenger]], so it can't get worse.\\ 
After the successful surgery, he moves to [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Los_Santos_(HD_Universe)|Los Santos]] and meets up with a drone of [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Goldberg%2C_Ligner_%26_Shyster|Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster]], his lawyers, in the [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Arcadius_Business_Center|Arcadius Building]], where he requests them to get his niece, Diana, to come to [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Los_Santos_(HD_Universe)|Los Santos]].\\ 
She does, but as she meets Jack, she verbally attacks him: There's been no contact for eight years, and she felt abandoned. They can kind of sort it out, and Jack takes up a job at [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Simeon|Simeon Yetarian]]'s - his plans require him to earn money first.\\ 
Meanwhile, Diana checks on his old meth lab for him, and finds it still active and trading, which means, Jack has more money than he thinks he has.\\ 
But he decides anyway to speed things up and robs [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Union_Depository|Union Depository]] all by himself. He then meets with Diana and Mr. Goldberg from the above mentioned lawyers, and tells them his plans have changed, so he requires Diana to return to [[http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Liberty_City_(HD_Universe)|Liberty City]] together with Mr. Goldberg, to oversee Jacks trades there.\\ 
The last chapter of the film shows Jack and Diana moving crates in their cities, with Jack then selling one of them and looking at his pile of cash in his treasury at the end.

===== Trivia =====

The making of this movie started immediately after the release of [[The Shady Avenger]], parts of the first scenes were even filmed while the Avenger movie was in post-production. The working title then was "The Masked Marauder returns". Later in the making, the director decided to change the outfit and name of the evil alternate personality of [[Jack Napier]], and gave him for the time being the name "Dr. Doom" (which explains the design). As the name "Dr. Doom" is already taken by comic companies, the working title of the film, that was "The Rise of Dr. Doom", changed to "The Rise of Dr. D", until finally the name of [[the Phantom Reaper]] was found.\\ 
All of this time, the film was solely about the return of the main villain from the last movie. It had even scenes with the Avenger in a supporting role. When Rockstar Games announced the Finance & Felony DLC, the script got changed once again, finally assuming the title "Finance & Felony: The Movie", although that DLC is only featured in the last chapter, the rest of the movie building up the means to get there for Jack.\\ 
That explains why the movie seemingly changes his pace and direction multiple times: The director was even thinking about throwing the whole project out. According to him, it was the music that saved the film and got it online.
